The Monitors operate behind the border on behalf of the Marik Government.  The jump freight schedule and the available Aerospace National Guard strength are known factors.  The compliment of Stingrays and dedicated FWL naval craft are there fore much stronger than pirates or rebels can field.<br /><br />2.  These monitors are designed to be able to handle a Leopard CVL strike and survive.  Anything more than that raiding behind the lines and the FWL has more to worry about than a wrecked monitor. <br /><br />3.  These monitors were used to keep the peace with nominally friendly governments.  Pirate and Rebel operational tempo droped to zero when one of these ships arived.  By keeping an aggressive rotation on interior jump lines, secessionist/criminal insurgency was kept off balance and forced to move their operations to the ever changing periphery withing the Anton Marches.  This was an expensive prospect in time and money.  In addition such guerrilla operations would be forced to zig when all of the smart money was on zag, and get caught.<br /><br />4. Monitors are ultimately a logistical tail with teeth and as such no match for dedicated Naval detachments.<br /><br />I hope this answers your question sir.<br /><br /> ]]></description>

<description><![CDATA[ I found what is supposed to be a single player campaign called MegaMek solo war. The basics work fine like building your army and such but when the game launches megamek stalls out at waiting for server.<br />    When I play a scenario using MegaMek .34 all works well. <br />Im looking for some thoughts as to how to get the megamek that the campaign launches to work.
