I made a 'mech with a null signature system and saved it and when I reloaded it the null signature system was not there. Also it seems that the price of the 'mech does not increase from adding the null signature system. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, but it doesn't either way.

You've got an older build. Update it to 0.5.56a, the latest on the site.

We'll have to check that, but it looks like a file naming problem. Hopefully in tonight's build. Sorry about that.

SSW 0.5.58 is now out. Aside from some bug fixes, we have:
- Added filters to the Open Dialog - Added Targeting Computer to the Weapons and Equipment list on printouts. - Added ammunition types and total rounds to the Weapons and Equipment list on printouts.
Enjoy!
Vidar, I couldn't track down the issue just yet, but I'll keep looking.

Donteras, SSW is a work in progress. If Armsless mechs are in Total Warfare, TacOps, Tech Manual, we will get around to it. Also, they changed the rules for ferro-fibrous armour making it always round down (which has cause numerous problems).

2 things I have problems with: I have an armless 'mech and it seems SSW doesn't support it, and it seems to have rounding problems. My armless 'mech has a half ton of FF armor, which should be 9 points, but on SSW it's 8 points (8 points x 1.12 = 8.96, which should round up to 9).
Also, I was wondering if you are ever going to do LAMs. I know it's not legally game supported, but it's still something that people like to work on, so I was hoping you guys would be supportive of our creative efforts.

I wonder if they changed it so that armless 'mechs can't be fully covered with half a ton of FF.

Unfortunatly, that is not a bug.
It's one of the few rule changes/correction that require changes to designs.
page 22 of TechManual "ROUNDING AND ARMOR/INTERNAL STRUCTURE
Many armor types exist for various units that can result in fractional armor points during design. Unless stated otherwise under the unit’s construction rules, when rounding fractional armor points, always round down to the nearest whole number."
so SSW is following the rules.

Donteras, ArcAngel and Grantwhy are correct and, unfortunately, armless 'Mechs do not exist under the new rules. So SSW will never support them until they appear in a book after Tech Manual (as ArcAngel said, Tac Ops, Strat Ops, etc...)

Bug: When the era is set to Succession Wars, the option to put Artemis on MML's is still available.
EDIT: Hmmm... seems to have gone away . However, double heat sinks also seem to be available.
EDIT2: Got it now. When you go from Clan Invasion to Succession Wars eras, it leaves Artemis for MMLs available.
Bug 2: When loading a Clan Quad Omni, CASE is automatically added to all locations and counted as though it is Inner Sphere CASE (0.5 tons, 1 crit, rather then 0t/0c). Does not appear to affect biped Omnis.
EDIT 3: Seems to be associated with when the Omni base chassis is locked. Tried rebuilding the mech in question and the Inner Sphere CASE appeared as soon as I locked the chassis.
Additional Crap: 1. The open dialog is not wide enough to show the "Open Mech" button at the bottom right, nor the "..." button at the upper right to change the directory. 2. HTML output for Omni's does not display mass for added heat sinks in configurations. It does display the right number of heat sinks, but lists the mass as "0.0".

How/where would you like this to show in the program? The Cost and BV are already calculated for Clan 'Mechs by assuming that any location with ammo/explosive weapons is considered to always have CASE.
0.5.60 is now out:
+added - You can now print using miniatures scale (from 1 to 5 inches per hex). - The 'Mech name and model will now appear in the titlebar of SSW after save, load and export. - Added a "Source" field for the 'Mech.
+changed - Expanded the Cost/BV Breakdown screen to include more information. - Armored components are now available in MTF export. - Physical Enhancements now correctly check their exclusion list. - Added to the Get Info context menu item to show info on any item in the loadout. - Fixed a bug where CASE would appear after locking a Clan Quad chassis. - Fixed a bug where heat sink and jump jet types would change when changing motive type. - Added safeguards and dialogues regarding discarding changes to a 'Mech. - MML Artemis checkbox now correctly disabled during canon eras other than Clan Invasion. - ICE and Cell engines, as well as Industrial and Commercial armor now export to MTF correctly. - Made a slight change in the GetWastedTonnage and GetWastedAV routines to hopefully report better.

Just displaying it on the export HTML could work.
