I do not think it is that bad (otherwise it is too late for me).

It's not a bad thing but it is definitely too late for you, Ice.

SSW 0.6.1 is now available.

+ changed
- Spot welders now require power amplifiers and can be installed alongside other Industrial Physical Weapons
- Fixed an issue with the Open dialogue and not saving the last load name correctly.
- IndustrialMechs no longer available under Introductory Rules.
- (Hopefully) Fixed Clan CASE checkbox behavior and saving.
- (Hopefully) Fixed incorrect MegaMek lookupnames for mtf export.
- Made some slight formatting changes to the Text Export.

I may be getting a mandatory unpaid week off from work. Although not getting paid sucks, I feel fortunate to still have a job at this time (and not having to take a pay cut!) Rest assured I will make the most of that time and get some good programming time in.

A new TRO file has been submitted which should complete the canon collection. I will try my best to ge this posted by tomorrow.

Hey LiS; Once you think that SSW is essentially complete, would you consider modifying it for making other things, i. e. battle armor and vehicles?

Yes. A while back I layed out the Combat Vehicle editor (which will be named Solaris Armor Werks). Here are some previews:

At some point I will set down SSW and get to SAW, but there's a lot of code in-between those times.

Aye, I can't wait either. Many thanks for you and your team's hard work on this project.

Strange question, my BT group is stuck on the BV1 system. HMP still needs to be updated. Could there be an option to use the old system for BV? Only for those of us stuck with the dinosaurs,

At this time, no. Calculating BV is a very programming-intensive process (even though it is rather simple). I may consider it in the future, but it will take a lot of work.

I'm fairly certain that HMP does handle BV2 in its more recent update. Go here to get the update:

I know that but they refuse to update. So I am a little ticked and back to pen and paper.

Update with the newest weapons and equipment you mean? That's true enough and is mostly because he chose to consentrate on getting HMP6 out rather than update HMP5. His call, and there's alot of people like you (and me) who are a little miffed at the decision.

All the more reason to use SSW !
