LAMs aren't stupid, IMO, they were just a concept that is the intellectual property of another company, therefore not legal to use. I wish that other company would get over it so Battletech can use that idea.

I have a problem with SRM-4 ammunition showing 45 rounds of ammo per ton, but I don't have the newest version yet.

Busy (and tired) week, but...

SSW 0.6.03 is now out.

There have been a lot of little fixes that I didn't document. The big change in this one is that equpment will get pushed out of the way when you allocate a new piece of equipment.. Please note, however, that it may act a little funky if you're used to other programs. The key thing to remember is that it will allocate displaced equipment to the first free location. So, for an example, say I have a PPC in a torso and I want to displace it with a heat sink:

Before Placement 1 Placement 2 Placement 3 Final Result
1. Empty 1. Empty 1. Empty <- PPC 1. PPC 1. PPC
2. PPC 2. PPC <- Heat Sink 2. Heat Sink 2. PPC 2. PPC
3. PPC 3. PPC 3. Empty 3. PPC 3. PPC
4. PPC 4. PPC 4. Empty 4. Empty <- Heat Sink 4. Heat Sink

What's going on:
Before: The PPC has an empty space above it. Not unusual during initial placement.
Placement 1: I am displacing the PPC with the heat sink.
Placement 2: The program places the PPC in the first free critical in the location, displacing the heat sink.
Placement 3: The program places the Heat Sink in the first free critical in the location.
Final Result: What it looks like in the end.

Why did I go with this? It was the easiest way to make it work using pre-existing routines.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

I've confirmed the SRM-4 ammo error is in the new version. The ammo says 45 shots per ton, the launcher says 25 shots per ton. That's only on the regular ammo, not any of the specialty ammo.

Also, SSW tells the TROs that environmental sealing takes 7 slots, but there are eight locations, so if it takes 1 slot per location, then it must take 8 slots. (No fault of yours, but losing that head slot and one of the CT slots is very inconvenient.)

I checked the weapons spreadsheet and you are correct. I missed that last time, fixed for next version.

Only the HTML export has the issue with environmental sealing as far as I can tell.

Two glaring typos. I'll get those fixed.

Would it be possible to have the SSW Master TRO File compiled by CJ Keys broken down by TRO?

One more thing, since you guys are putting in all equipment from Total Warfare, Tech Manual, and Strategic and Tactical Ops, could you guys put in a ladder? I think that since all ladders weigh a half ton it shouldn't be difficult unless you want to go into detail (like how long the ladder is :P ).

One more thing. I put a command console in an industrialmech and no mass was added. Is this a bug or do command consoles come pre-equipped in industrialmechs?

Ok. it seems that I can't delete that last post. I figured out that it's not getting mass from the command console because it is environmentally sealed and therefore doesn't have room for it. Now I need to be able to put some sort of troop carrying capacity in it so that it can take firefighters to the field. Is there anyway to put a 2 or 3 person passenger couch on an industrialmech?

Donteras, as I read the rules for cargo and infantry bays you can actually put them on i-mechs. They're in the queue with the remaining industrial equipment.

I found a new bug: I clicked on the option that says "Ultra ACs and RACs fire at full rate" and the heat my 'mech generates doesn't change.

Does "in queue" mean that they're not there yet?

SSW 0.6.05 is now out in the usual locations. After a long and relaxing hiatus (I really needed a sanity break) the new version is here. I think I addressed most of the issues that were brought up in that time. Skyhigh fixed up the Force and Open dialogues, plus we've added in Laser Insulators. Also, there is a context menu on the Equipment tab for adding in PPC Capacitors and Insulators, just like on the Criticals tab. Anyway, the changelog speaks for itselfand, as usual, there are some undocumented fixes.

Thanks again for all the help and suggestions!

+ Added
- You can now armor Multi-Slot Systems (Null-Sig, Void Sig, etc...)
- Added in Laser Insulators.
- Added a context menu on the Equipment list for PPC Caps and Insulators.

+ Changed
- Fixed an issue with the Force dialog printing Prime omnis rather then the selected configuration.
- Fixed the Availability filter code for Succession Era tech and advanced or higher rules.
- Items shifted by placement of other items now retain their facing.
- Fixed some problems with the current weapons data.

Is there anyway to copy and paste on SSW? Everytime I highlight and rightclick, I get nothing
