Version 0.5.23 is now out. Whole bunch of bug fixes, plus I added in PPC Capacitors.
Ice, I plan on spending some time with the next version checking out different locales (which is probably what's causing your errors). Hope I can fix it...

Ice, I found out what was causing your error (and other people may have experienced this as well). The next update will fix it, but I want to make it a large update, so it may not be until next week. Thanks for your patience.

0.5.26 is now up. It mainly fixes the loading bug when downloading from Solaris 7. Unfortunately, it has not been tested on a Windows system, so give it a try if you'd like.

0.5.28 is out, should fix the PPC Capacitor and Targeting Computer problems. The persistent loading bug with file names should hopefully be fixed, but the real test will be Ice Hellion.
You will see a lot of new controls on the GUI, but they will be disabled. Please do not inform me of bugs with them because none are implemented yet. Unless I get a bug, I'm going to (try to) avoid updates for a bit while all that junk gets put into the program. 0.5.28 is the new "stable" (I hope) for the time being.

Pfffft. Just give it a try. You have had the most problems with loading 'Mechs so far.

You know I am exaggerating sometimes.
Downloaded and home designs works now. Thanks.

What I would most like to see right now is an option to automatically distribute armor ala HMP. I usually stick with that option, I like it a lot more than coming back and fiddling with armor constantly.

Does HMP do it a certain way? Because right now you can set the desired armor tonnage, use the maximize button, or use the "Efficient" button which will attempt to allocate armor to an efficient maximum. All of those methods "auto-allocate" the armor.

I mean the automatic setting that automatically drops armor to keep the design from being overweight and automatically adds armor if there's room. Come to think of it, something like an "efficient but without making it overweight" button would also be nice...

This is gonna be one of those times when I say "no". I'd be happy to add a button for "Use Remaining Tonnage", but I will not have it auto-allocate armor based on the 'Mech's used tonnage ala HMP.
