Overview:

This is to be a refit of the MAD-3D to solve its overheating problems.


Capabilities:

This 'Mech is a modified stock MAD-3D that replaces the autocannon with a large laser and 4 heat sinks.

Deployment:

The MAD-3Da is a cheap yet effective refit and replacement for the standard MAD-3D. It will be assigned to Davion units with a shortage of Marauders.

i have one the jumps and no heat at all even if it jumps it can alpha strike all day

I do not see any difference with the MAD-3D.

Nice Idea and having played the orginal I like the HS upgrade. But needs some more fluff

I can understand the logic behind this design- now it can actually fire the PPC's and walk without much problem, and with close ranged fights (where using the PPC's will probably not happen) it will not have many problems, medium ranged fighting will be bad. However, for what it can now do, it can be pritty nice.
However, I would have liked to see some fluff; maybe something involving the original Marauder's problems with the targeting systems accompanied with the removal or replacement of the original weapons.
