Overview
Shock Inc. does not normally do refits, but Colonel Max Johnston is a close friend of the CEO of Shock, Inc. and his inherited Warhammer was in very bad shape. It had been very well maintained until its crippling battle. Enough of it had to be replaced that Max decided to make a change that had been buzzing around his head for quite a while. Both arms were lost in that battle and since his lance had to flee, the arms were unrecoverable.


Capabilities
Replacing the arms turned out to be a rather simple task for Shock, Inc. Colonel Johnston decided that it might improve the performance of his Warhammer slightly to install light PPCs in place of the standard PPCs to increase what he called "splatter damage". The weapons mounts in the arms had to be modified slightly. Again, this was not difficult. Most of the armor was blown off of the 'mech, so it was rather simple to also install ferro-fibrous armor. The machine guns and small lasers were removed since Colonel Johnston did not like them very much anyway. A flamer was installed in the head to make up for the loss of anti-infantry capability and was the only modification that required a major change. All these changes created enough room in the 'mech to install a fifth light PPC and three more medium lasers in the torso.


Battle History
Colonel Johnston has just returned to his unit and has yet to see battle.


Deployment
Colonel Max Johnston is related to the founder of Johnston Industries.
The Colonel, his WHM-7H Warhammer and the rest of his company are on special assignment somewhere in Federated Suns.  His exact location is classified top secret.


Known Variants
The WHM-7H is a variant of the WHM-6R.


Notable 'Mechs and Mechwarriors
Colonel Max Jefferson is a highly decorated officer of the Davion Special Forces. His exploits are not likely to become public record for quite a while.

Better heat management, heavier armour and a nasty anti-mech punch in close whilst retaining infantry & vehicle munching ability.

No hole puncher but plenty of splatter damage. Interesting!
