Overview:

Since its creation the Black Knight was one of the most popular Command mechs made. Its blending of armor, weaponry, electronics, and speed provided one of the most stable combat platforms ever created. When Alexander Kerensky left on the Exodus almost ever Black Knight produced went with him. After the founding of the Clans many of the mechs to survive the pentagon campaigns were refurbished with Clan technology. The Black Knight was no exception. However as the Omni-mech came into its own the Black Knight was relegated to second line duty and eventually was completely decommissioned.

In 3077 when Clan forces again invaded the all forces of the Inner Sphere suffered near debilitating losses. Jaime Wolf of Wolf's Dragoons immediately released to as many production plants as possible a full array of Star League era refits along with full plans of Clan production lines for advanced weaponry. Since its reappearence it has once again come to be one of the most popular mechs on the battlefields.

Capabilities:

The Black Knight IID is surprisingly little changed from its original Star League ancestor. Testing showed the original design of the Black Knight was so well designed that even full use of Clan Technology could not produce any drastic improvements. The Primary difference is the upgrade from 20 standard heatsinks to 21 double models, drastically improving the heat curve. In turn all of the weapon systems were upgraded to the ER versions along with all power increases these create. Possibly the most advantagous upgrade was the replacement of a third ER Large Laser (added in 2846) with the newly created targetting computer.

Incredible mix of firepower and heat dissipation with a sharpshooter's accuracy... and all of this without the added vulnerability and cost of an XL engine. 5 of 5.

Overview:

Note: The Warhammer IID is based on a fanfiction set I am writing that follows in the wake of the FedCom civil war. As such it is not canon.

In the wake of the Operation Bulldog and Serpent it came time for the famed Wolf's Dragoons to rebuild and rearm their forces. Since their first appearence one of the most popular mechs in the forces of the Dragoons had been the Warhammer, influenced greatly by the desire of the average mechwarrior to match the famous Blackwidow, Natasha Kerensky. For many years these warriors had been equipped with the standard Warhammer IIC seen through out the Clans. However Mauve Wolf decided to take a different approach, a Warhammer better suited to the combat style of the Dragoons.

Rather then go through a time consuming period of redesign and testing she had her scientists go back through the archives for data pertaining to the days following the Exodus when the Warhammer was midway through its alterations into the clan Hellbringer (or Loki). At 65 tons, the Warhammer had been able to increase its speed with no noticable loss in armor protection, likewise a transition to ER Large Lasers had allowed for the inclusion of advanced electronics to both help defend the pilot and detect the enemy.

With the upgrade to full Clan technology the newly christened Warhammer IID (Dragoons) is rapidly becoming one of the most fearsome heavy mechs to walk any battlefield.

Capabilities:

The Warhammer IID bears a striking resemblence to the old WHM-6R, though its legs are noticably thinner and longer, allowing for a longer gait to make full use of its increased speed. So far as firepower it is nearly an even match with the Clan Warhammer IIC, simply trading 4 medium pulse lasers for the ER model and upgrading the standard SRM6 to a Streak SRM6 for better ammo effecience. In the area of armor, the IID is only a ton and a half shy of its assault class brother, a fact easily countered by the ECM suite and Active Probe that are built standard in the mech.

Battle History:

The Warhammer IID fought in many of the largest battles of war against the Clans from the defense of Coventry in 3082, Outreach in 3085, the liberation of Kentares in 3091, and the final battles against Vlad Ward's forces.

ok i dont know anything about your fan fiction but FYI... yes the wolf dragoons were clan but that doesn't mean they have access to Clan Technology..... maybe very little, and i mean very little.... theres no way they had access to a clan XL Fusion Reactor not to mention many of them for mass production.... as for Clan weapons i might be wrong here but i believe they used Star League Tech i have a list of all the old Startech equipment but its still inner sphere not clan

Overview:

The Widow Mk III was produced in 3059 by Marianne Wallace with the help of production facilities owned by Wolf's Dragoons. Marianne realized that she was getting on in years, her eye sight had been deteriorating for the previous two years, and had necessitated prescription glasses. Soon she would be unable to pilot the Highlander which had served her and her husband before her. When that time came "Wallace's Widow" would pass to her son, Jerard.

Marianne requested directed of President Rictheron to use his connections with the Dragoons to hire a special construction job. Namely she wished to have the Widow completely remodeled from the ground up, built entirely with Clan tech to offer her son the maximum protection possible. It took less then a fort night before she got a reply, the Dragoons had accepted.

Marianne spent days locked in a room with the designers, ironing out all the problems in the design before the 'Widow' was brought in for repair. By the time it was finished, it was a true masterpiece, ready to serve young Jerard Wallace as well as it had served both his parents.

Capabilities:

The Widow mk III has, since its entry to the battlefield, proved its value time and again. The XL engine upgrade, while weighing the same as the IS version, is far safer, allowing the pilot to fight on, even should it lose half its torso. The Widow retains the trio of jumpjets common to Highlanders, which allow the mech to perform the dreaded death from above attack, even more frighting from a vehicle the size of the Highlander.

For long range hitting power the Widow carries the Gauss Rifle in its right arm. Backing that up are a torso mounted LRM20 linked to an Artemis IV system for greater accuracy, and an ER Large laser. This alone gives the Widow enough long range hitting power to threaten any attackers. Should an enemy choose to approach further they would face the fierce power of the Widow's left arm. Mounted along the forearm sits six interlinked Medium Pulse lasers capable of sheering the armor off an Atlas in a single firing.

Deployment:

Only one Widow is currently in existence, serving as the mech for Lt. Jerard Wallace of the Dragon's Teeth, 2nd Independent Company, the Remembered.

I like it, then again I'm a fan of energy weapons. I like the extreme hitting power at long range, and the ferocity of the six medium pulse lasers.
